Asia Media Sdn. Bhd. is a media based company specialised as an in-bus media that provides information, entertainment and targeted advertising through the use of digital electronic displays, LCDs’ that are installed in public buses.
As the digital era emerges and the use of internet as a communication medium becomes wider, the number of people utilising conventional media such as television, newspapers and radio is getting lesser day by day. Thus, advertisers are coming up with new approaches to reach their targeted audiences. |
Under AsiaMedia, TransNet has been fostered as a channel that collaborates and sources out interactivity, connectivity and creativity of media to the target audience. TransNet which comes from the combination of 2 root words- ‘Transportation’ and ‘Network’ plays its deep role as transportation on hub or transportation network. Asia Media’s network functions under the collaboration of 3 operators; TransNet KL (Klang Valley Division), TransNet JB (Johor Bharu Division) and TransNet Express (Peninsular Division). Through this collaboration, Asia Media has brought the network coverage of advertising to a wider prospect. With such prospect, brand building through advertisement is made possible and of worth by Asia Media. |

With 3,175 LCD screens installed in 1,391 stage and express buses (September 2007 – March 2008), Asia Media is recognized as a national-record holder of the ‘Biggest Transit-TV Network (Bus).
Asia Media has won the Best Start-up Company award by MSC Malaysia APICTA (Asia Pacific ICT Awards). The award is designed to seek out the most entrepreneurial ICT start-up company.
