Asia Media was awarded Three Licences (NFP-i, NSP-i, CASP-i and ASP) from Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and Spectrums for the deployment of DIgital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB).

Asia Media announced plans to be the first company in Malaysia to deploy digital video broadcasting (DVB) for Transit-TV. The company’s DVB roll-out for Klang Valley is scheduled to be completed by 2010 and extended to Johor Bahru & Penang by 2011.

Asia Media and The Star Publications have announced a Joint Media Collaboration. The one year deal will see the two media powerhouses cross-promoting their respective media products on the other’s media platform.
